I do not know who the client is, even when I design a piece of furniture for a certain client. The one who pays for the work, for the design or the one who buys the furniture.
But there are always others, there are always those who use, who see, who frequent and inhabit our objects, our spaces, the furniture we design, and who are also clients. And there’s me who am also a client, especially when I design, when I produce or when I deliver and place in some house, in some place, that is not mine. Design, architecture has an added responsibility, it plays with the anticipation of the values more than with the shapes.
